Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Jaipur.

The Sales

Manager will lead and manage a team to drive sales of general insurance products across multiple lines, including motor, health, and commercial insurance. Daily responsibilities include setting sales targets, developing and executing local sales plans, monitoring performance, and supporting intermediaries and partners to achieve revenue and profitability goals.



The role involves building and maintaining strong customer and channel relationships, ensuring high service standards, and coordinating with internal teams such as underwriting, operations, and claims to enable smooth policy issuance and servicing.

The Sales

Manager will also track market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong team leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and the ability to motivate diverse sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and planning abilities, including proficiency in using CRM tools and basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and forecasting.
- Good understanding of general insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory environment; IRDAI certification will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, travel within the region as required, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
