About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Executive to expand our presence in the Odisha construction and infrastructure market. The candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with TMT/GFRP rebar dealers, contractors, builders, structural consultants, precast manufacturers and project owners and generating sales opportunities for UNSTAIN GFRP Rebars.

This is a field-oriented sales role requiring regular market visits and strong relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new customers across Odisha.
- Visit and build relationships with:
- TMT/rebar dealers and distributors
- Civil contractors
- Builders and developers
- Precast manufacturers
- Structural consultants
- Infrastructure companies
- Government and institutional project stakeholders
- Generate leads through field visits, references, cold calling, networking and market research.
- Explain the technical and commercial benefits of GFRP Rebars compared with conventional steel reinforcement.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with the internal team for order processing.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, samples and pending orders.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a database of dealers, contractors and project opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, market prices and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Collect market feedback and communicate customer requirements to management.
- Maintain regular sales reports and daily/weekly visit updates.

Candidate Profile

Education

- Graduate in any discipline.




- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering will be an advantage.

Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in sales/business development.
- Experience in TMT steel, construction materials, cement, pipes, precast, building materials or infrastructure products will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also apply.

Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and convincing ability.
- Comfortable with extensive field sales and travelling across Odisha.
- Basic understanding of the construction industry.
- Ability to develop dealer and contractor relationships.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and WhatsApp.
- Ability to prepare basic sales reports.
- Odia and English communication skills are essential.
- Hindi communication will be an added advantage.
- Must have a valid two-wheeler driving licence and preferably own a two-wheeler.
