Job Title: Civil Safety Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Civil Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at our construction site in Silvassa. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, minimizing workplace risks, and promoting a strong safety culture across the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Organize Safety Induction programs and Daily Toolbox Talks (TBT).
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees and contractors.
- Supervise high-risk activities such as Work at Height, Excavation, Scaffolding, Lifting Operations, Hot Work, and Confined Space Entry.
- Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, fire safety arrangements, and conduct mock drills.
- Maintain HSE records, reports,



inspection checklists, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, and Client representatives on safety matters.
- Promote a positive safety culture through regular awareness programs and training.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering (Preferred)
- Diploma in Industrial Safety / ADIS / PDIS / NEBOSH / IOSH (Preferred)

Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Civil Construction Projects.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
