Safety Engineer – Mumbai Powai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer for our project. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction site safety, statutory compliance, risk assessment, and implementation of EHS practices.

Eligibility

Qualification:

- B.E./B.Tech in Engineering + ADIS/PDIS (Preferred)
- OR Diploma in Engineering + ADIS/PDIS

Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech + ADIS/PDIS: Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
- Diploma + ADIS/PDIS: Minimum 8 years of construction safety experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of all EHS and safety standards at the project site.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Carry out risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
- Monitor work permits for hot work, work at height, lifting activities, excavation, and confined space work.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors,



and client representatives on safety matters.
- Maintain statutory safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and client requirements.
