ABOUT THE ROLE

Indus Group Inc is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Resume Writer to create compelling, ATS-optimized resumes and career documents for our clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience writing professional resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, and is comfortable working night shift hours aligned with US business time zones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct client consultations to gather detailed career history, skills, achievements, and job search goals.

Write, edit, and format professional resumes that are clear, achievement-focused, and optimized for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Develop supporting documents including cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and executive bios as required.

Highlight quantifiable accomplishments using persuasive, results-driven language tailored to target roles and industries.

Revise documents based on client feedback while maintaining high quality and professional standards.

Proofread thoroughly for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and formatting accuracy.

Stay updated on resume best practices, hiring trends, and ATS requirements.





Manage multiple client projects, meet deadlines, and maintain excellent client communication and satisfaction.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in professional resume writing, career services, editing, or related writing roles (freelance experience accepted if demonstrable).

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong command of English grammar and style.

Proven ability to craft ATS-friendly resumes tailored to specific industries and job levels.

Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills to extract relevant information and build client rapport.

Solid understanding of modern resume formats, keyword optimization, and current hiring trends.

High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word (or equivalent) for professional document formatting.

Ability to work independently during night shift hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
