Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Residential Interior Designer based in HRBR Layout, Bengaluru (compensation up to 6 LPA). The role involves meeting clients, understanding their lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic preferences, and translating these into functional and visually appealing residential interior concepts.

Responsibilities include preparing design proposals, space plans, mood boards, material palettes, and 2D/3D drawings, as well as coordinating FF&E; selections such as furniture, fixtures, and finishes.

The Residential Interior

Designer will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, vendors,



and the Square Yards sales and project teams to ensure on-time and on-budget execution. Day-to-day activities also include site visits, monitoring work quality, managing design revisions, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards while delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

- Ability to plan residential spaces effectively, with strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
- Working knowledge of Architecture concepts and construction processes relevant to residential interiors.
- Proficiency in developing detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution teams.
- Experience in FF&E; selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar software).
- Strong client communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively on-site.
- Knowledge of current residential design trends, materials, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
- Prior experience in residential interior projects, preferably in a fast-paced real estate or design setting.
