Your key responsibilities;

- Working as an effective member of a project team, to Interview the clients senior technical and engineering staff in order to develop an understanding of the technical characteristics of the projects undertaken.

- Facilitate application of Irish Revenues guidelines to identify which R&D; projects or aspects of projects are eligible for tax relief.

- Writing detailed technical project reports describing the technological objectives, advancements, and uncertainties of the clients projects, to support the R&D; tax claim.

- Ability to provide practical approaches and solutions to situations and apply critical thinking to ensure the delivery of the project work products.

- Working with the EY R&D; global network to deliver multi jurisdiction projects aligned to the global nature of the engineering/IT/technology sector.

- Responsible for high-quality delivery of advice and solutions to major clients,



ensuring management of risk and reputation.

- Supporting in the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken.

- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to provide high levels of client service.

- Maintaining up to date technical and tax technical knowledge.

Skills and attributes for success;

- Technical experience in the fields of Computer sciences/ IT and related fields.

To qualify for the role you must have

- PhD in Computers (and related fields), Electronics, Physics or Mathematics with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Or Masters in these fields with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
