Role Description The Research Assistant role at Astra Tribe is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting research projects that align with the organization’s innovative and experimental approach. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, collecting and organizing data, assisting with experimental design, and collaborating with team members to interpret and present findings.

The role also involves preparing research summaries, supporting basic laboratory or experimental procedures where applicable, and maintaining accurate documentation of methods and results.

Assistant will work closely with project leads to ensure research tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to design studies, evaluate sources, and synthesize information.
- Proficiency in data analysis, with experience using spreadsheets, statistical tools, or data visualization software.
- Effective communication skills, including clear written reporting and collaborative communication with remote teams.
- Foundational laboratory or experimental skills, such as following protocols, recording observations, and maintaining organized records (where applicable).
- Relevant academic background in a scientific, social science, or related research field (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote workplace.
