About the Role

Pyramid Eats is looking for an experienced R&D; Chef / Product Development Chef to join our food processing team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and improving new food products for industrial-scale production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and test new food products and recipes for commercial production.
- Conduct trials, product sampling, and recipe standardization.
- Convert chef-created recipes into large-scale industrial production.
- Work closely with the Production, Quality, and Procurement teams.
- Optimize recipes for taste, texture, appearance, consistency, and cost.
- Prepare and maintain standardized recipes, formulations, and product specifications.
- Conduct trials for recent ingredients, products, and processing methods.
- Identify opportunities for new product development and product improvement.
- Ensure products meet quality, food safety, and production requirements.




- Assist in troubleshooting product-related issues during production.
- Maintain proper documentation of R&D; trials and product development activities.

Candidate Profile
- Experience as an NPD Chef / R&D; Chef / Product Development Chef in an industrial food processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food product development and recipe standardization.
- Experience with large-scale food production will be preferred.
- Practical knowledge of frozen/processed food products will be an advantage.
- Valuable understanding of food quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Creative, innovative, and passionate about developing new food products.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Important Industrial Food Processing experience is mandatory.

Pay: ₹26,092.63 - ₹92,475.73 per month
