Need to handle Chakan plant for Shot Blasting and Painting process.

1. Need to possess following knowledge related to Painting Process

- Aware of surface preparation and painting related international standards like ASTM, NACE, ISO and SSPC etc.
- Familiar with Aramco/ ADNOC painting specifications is preferred.
- Aware of requirements for surface preparation by blasting for CS, SS and Al and tests for the same.
- Aware of climatic conditions requirements during blasting, surface preparation and painting.
- Aware of air quality requirements
- Aware of primer for Al and two main types of primers for carbon steel and their pros and cons.
- Aware the function of MIOs.
- Aware of various types of primers, paints and their pros and cons.
- Aware of paint preparation and application requirements.
- Aware of how paint coverage is achieved on sharp corners and edges.
- Aware of post painting tests.
- Aware of how the gloss of paint film can be improved
- Preparation of painting quality records at different stages from surface preparation to post painting.
- Prepare SOPs, WI, QAP and ITP for complete blasting and painting process.
- Propose painting scheme as per customers requirements of corrosion protection.
- Monitor surface preparation, painting process.
- Aware of how to do paint patch work (at paint damage portion) which will aesthetically also looks good.
- Monitoring inspection of all tests from surface preparation to post painting.
- Aware of air less painting.
- Analysis of painting rejection and rework and CAPA for the same.
- Monitoring of shelf life of primer and paints.
- Qualification of new paint cycles.




- Train painters for good quality painting and work efficiency.
- Handling of TPI.
- Exposure to 7 tank pre treatment, powder coating, fire proof coating is preferred.
- Development and auditing of Painting and Powder coating vendors.
- Carry out kaizen projects for cost reduction and better work efficiency.
- Monitor 5S and housekeeping of paint shop
- Prepare QMS and EHS documents, records for internal, external audit.

Media velocity/ Media selection (size, hardness, density)/ Impact angle/ Flow rate/ Air Quality c) Surface cleanliness standard

PPEs/ Regulatory compliances/ Pre processing requirements

1. Manage Shot Blasting and Paint Shop by planning the workload on daily basis.

Execute the orders as per customer’s requirements. We execute all Oil and Gas customer orders including Aramco and ADNOC, Kuwait.
1. Need to have the exposure of handling the workers.

Chakan Pune Plant will have Shot Blasting and two Paint Booths, Spring pressing cum robot welding set up, Compressor, DG, EOT cranes and Forklift. 5) Chakan plant has spring cartridge assembly facility, which involves, robot welding set up.

The candidate need to supervise spring cartridge assembly and welding set up as well.

1. Good Verbal and written communication skill.

Education ------ Dip Mech/ BE Mech/ Dip in Paint Technology and NACE Level 2 qualification for Painting Process is must.

Experience ----- Around 9 years.
