Technical Appraisal & Valuation Oversight

- Review, scrutinize, and approve technical appraisal and valuation reports for:

- Individual residential properties
- Flats, plots, and builder projects
- Commercial, industrial, and special collateral (farmhouses, hospitals, hotels, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to company credit policy, valuation norms, and internal technical guidelines.
- Conduct crossaudits & audits of valuation reports.

2. Regulatory & Compliance Management

- Verify compliance with:
- Local municipal laws and building bylaws
- Approved plans, OC/CC, NA orders, layout approvals
- Identify risk parameters such as:

- Deviations from sanctioned plans
- Government acquisition / road widening proposals

- Prohibited or disputed properties

3. Vendor & Agency Management

- Empanel, onboard, and manage external valuation agencies.

- Maintain valuation quality through

- Regular performance reviews

- Technical audits

- Turnaround tracking
- Ensure standardization of reports and documentation across vendors.

4. Team & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and mentor junior technical officers / managers across branches.

- Coordinate with
- Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, and Business teams

- Provide technical inputs for

- Credit decisions

- Product structuring
- Policy refinements based on ground realities
- Prepare and circulate technical MIS, dashboards, and regional reports.

6. Market Intelligence & Policy Support

- Maintain deep understanding of:




- Local realestate trends and market rates

- District / clusterlevel risks
- Share market intelligence to support:

- Safer sourcing

- Early risk identification
- Actively contribute to policy formulation and updates for new property types or segments.
