Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization L2 Engineer to manage, administer, and support OpenShift Virtualization environments. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, performance optimization, VM lifecycle management, and ensuring high availability of OpenShift Virtualization infrastructure. The role requires solid expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, networking, and enterprise virtualization.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization clusters.
- Create, deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs).
- Perform VM provisioning, migration, cloning, snapshots, and backup activities.
- Monitor cluster health, storage, networking, and compute resources.
- Troubleshoot OpenShift Virtualization platform issues and resolve incidents within SLA.
- Perform patching, upgrades, and maintenance of OpenShift clusters.
- Configure and manage storage classes, persistent volumes (PV), and persistent volume claims (PVC).




- Manage Kubernetes networking, Multus CNI, VLANs, and load balancers.
- Support VM live migration and disaster recovery activities.
- Work with infrastructure, application, and security teams during deployments.
- Create and maintain operational documentation and SOPs.
- Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call activities.
