Role Description The Recording Engineer will work full time in office in Mumbai, overseeing audio capture, quality, and consistency across studio sessions and live recording projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and testing microphones, audio interfaces, and recording equipment; managing signal flow; and operating digital audio workstations to record vocals, instruments, and live performances.

The role involves collaborating closely with producers, artists, and sound designers to achieve the desired sonic aesthetic, maintaining organized session files, and ensuring backups and archiving of all recordings.

The Recording





Engineer will also perform basic editing, comping, and rough mixes, troubleshoot technical issues during sessions, and uphold best practices for studio safety and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Music and Music Production, with the ability to support both studio recordings and live performance projects.
- Proficiency in Audio Engineering and Sound Design, including signal flow, processing, and creative sound shaping.
- Hands-on experience working in a Recording Studio environment, with familiarity in studio setup, acoustics, and equipment maintenance.
- Advanced skills in Logic Pro and/or Cubase,Protools including recording, editing, and session organization.
- Knowledge of microphones, outboard gear, monitoring systems, and best practices for high-quality audio capture.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with artists, producers, and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple sessions, meet production timelines, and remain detail-oriented under time pressure.
- Relevant education in audio engineering, sound recording, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in music or live event production in a professional or semi-professional setting is an advantage.
