About the Role

We are seeking an experienced R&D; / NPD professional to lead formulation development and product innovation in the Cosmetics & Personal Care industry. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of the New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle — from concept briefs to commercialization — while ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Work Location: EGYPT. (Required relocation candidates from India to Egypt)

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage R&D; team operations, including direct reports and cross‑functional coordination.
- Drive end‑to‑end NPD processes: product brief evaluation, formulation, scale‑up, validation, and commercialization.
- Independently develop innovative formulations aligned with client briefs and market trends.
- Handle active‑based formulations (Vitamin C, Niacinamide, AHA/BHA, Peptides, Ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid, etc.).




- Optimize existing formulations for performance improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain and oversee R&D; documentation (formulation records, validation reports, technical dossiers).
- Collaborate closely with QC, Production, Regulatory, Purchase, and Marketing/NPD teams to ensure seamless product launches.

Qualifications

- Minimum 8 to15 years of experience.
- Proven track record of formulating and commercializing multiple products across skincare, haircare, and personal care categories.
- Strong knowledge of active ingredients and their stability, efficacy, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience in team leadership and reporting to senior management.
