- Solid grasp of

OIDC/OAuth2 and RBAC design

, ideally with Keycloak

- Experience designing event-driven or streaming architectures

(Kafka, or gRPC bidirectional streaming) — comfortable with reasoning about durability, replay, and ordering guarantees

- Experience building systems with strict audit/compliance requirements

- Strong API design instincts (REST and/or gRPC) and comfort owning a service end-to-end: data model, API, testing, deployment
