Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Surveyor to manage site measurements, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, quantity verification, contractor billing and quantity-related documentation for building construction projects.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of construction measurements, drawings, quantity calculations and billing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Take accurate site measurements of executed civil and finishing works.
- Verify quantities as per approved drawings and actual site execution.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs from construction drawings.
- Calculate quantities for concrete, steel, shuttering, masonry, plaster, flooring, waterproofing and other works.
- Prepare and maintain measurement sheets and quantity statements.
- Check and verify contractor/subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements.
- Assist in preparation and checking of client RA bills.
- Reconcile BOQ quantities with executed and billed quantities.
- Track balance quantities and identify variations.
- Prepare quantity statements for additional, substituted and omitted works.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, BOQs, bills and quantity-related documents.




- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings for quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Engineers regarding measurements and quantity-related issues.
- Prepare daily/weekly quantity and measurement reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of quantity and billing-related work.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of construction measurements and quantity surveying.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Experience in contractor billing and RA bills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading construction drawings.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Practical knowledge of building construction activities.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / Civil Engineering qualification preferred.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience in Quantity Surveying, Billing or Construction Measurement may also be considered.
- Engineering degree is not mandatory.

Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience in building construction, quantity surveying, billing or site measurement.

Candidates with solid practical knowledge and relevant site experience will also be considered.
