Role Description The Quantity Surveyor (Civil) will work on-site in Hyderabad in a full time capacity, supporting cost and contract management across civil and infrastructure projects. This role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimating and forecasting project costs, and supporting tender preparation and evaluation.

The Quantity

Surveyor will monitor project budgets, track variations, and prepare periodic cost reports to support commercial decision-making. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams,



verifying measurements and contractor bills, and helping ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, supporting value engineering initiatives, and adhering to company standards and relevant industry regulations.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in BOQ preparation and measurement, with strong understanding of civil construction quantities and specifications.
- Experience in cost planning and cost management, including budgeting, estimating, and value engineering for civil projects.
- Ability to implement cost control measures and cost reporting processes to track expenditures and forecast final project costs.
- Solid knowledge of contracts, tendering processes, and commercial terms related to civil engineering and infrastructure works.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with standard construction codes, methods of measurement, and relevant industry practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; ability to work with drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with site teams, consultants, and suppliers in an on-site workplace.
- Prior experience in industrial, warehouse, or large infrastructure projects in or around Hyderabad is an advantage.
