Grade: Assistant Manager

Role Purpose To establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across the zipper manufacturing plant by ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 customer-specific requirements, statutory regulations, and organizational quality objectives while driving process excellence and a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Management System

- Implement and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 requirements.
- Ensure all departmental processes comply with documented procedures.
- Develop, review, and control Quality Manuals, SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Flow Diagrams, Turtle Diagrams, and Quality Procedures.
- Monitor document and record control systems.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives across all manufacturing functions.

1. Internal Audit Management

- Prepare annual Internal Audit Plan.
- Conduct Process Audits, System Audits, and Product Audits.
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely closure.
- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Maintain audit records and audit dashboards.

1. Customer & Certification Audits

- Coordinate customer audits.
- Lead certification and surveillance audits.
- Prepare departments for external audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Coordinate audit evidence and compliance documentation.

1. Management Review Meeting

- Prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) agenda.
- Present QMS performance.
- Analyze trends.
- Monitor action items.
- Follow up for closure.

1. Document Control

∙ Maintain and control QMS documents. ∙ Review and update SOPs & Work Instructions.

∙ Manage Quality Manual and formats.

∙ Control check sheets and quality records.

∙ Ensure compliance with Customer Specifications.

∙ Control applicable Standards and revisions.

∙ Ensure document version control and availability.

∙ Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. ∙ Adhere to Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).

∙ Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

∙ Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management systems.

∙ Monitor QMS compliance through audits and corrective actions.

1. Cross Functional Coordination

∙ Coordinate with Production, Maintenance and Tool Room. ∙ Collaborate with Purchase, Stores and Planning teams.

∙ Support R&D; for recent product development and changes.

∙ Liaise with HR for QMS training and competency development.

∙ Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure quality compliance

9.Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Manufacturing)
- Diploma with relevant experience may also be considered.

10.Experience
- 6–10 years in Quality Management Systems within manufacturing.
- Experience in zipper, automotive, metal, textile accessories, or precision component manufacturing preferred.
