Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Inspector MPI to perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and other quality inspection activities to ensure conformance of products with product specification requirements, customer requirements and internal QMS requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality inspection of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) on products in accordance with approved procedures and applicable standards.

Interpret and evaluate inspection results and determine product acceptance or rejection.

Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and relevant documentation.

Verify dimensions, surface finish, and workmanship by visual inspection and using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, thread inspection gauges, thread plug gauges and other inspection tools.

Identify and report non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues.

Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained as per company requirements.

Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.





Follow all safety procedures while handling MPI equipment, chemicals, and inspection materials.

Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with EHS guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

Valid ASNT Level II / ISO 9712 Level II certification in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) is preferred.

2 - 5 years of experience in MPI/NDT inspection within manufacturing, fabrication, forging, casting, oil & gas, aerospace, or heavy engineering industries.
