Role & responsibilities

- In-process inspection Check parts during production (dimension, surface finish, tolerance).
- First-off approval Verify first piece before starting mass production.
- Patrol inspection Regular checking of running machines and parts.
- Use of measuring instruments Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.
- Rejection control Identify and separate defective parts (OK / NOT OK segregation).
- Root cause analysis Find reason for defects and inform production team.
- Documentation – Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality records.
- Calibration check – Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and valid.
- Process monitoring – Ensure CNC parameters and process standards are followed.
- Customer quality standards – Follow drawings, specifications, and customer requirements strictly.

Preferred candidate profile
- Educational Qualification – Diploma / BE (Mechanical) or ITI (Machinist / Turner).
- Experience – 1 to 3 years in CNC line quality / in-process inspection.




- Drawing Knowledge – Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Measurement Skills – Good knowledge in Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, Bore gauge.
- Tolerance Knowledge – Understanding of limits, fits, and GD&T; basics.
- Inspection Knowledge – Experience in first-off, in-process, and final inspection
