About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our agile team at Indication Instruments Limited. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our new product development processes. This position involves active participation in all stages of product development, from conceptualization to launch, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The Quality

Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and suppliers, to identify potential risks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about quality assurance and innovation to contribute meaningfully to a growing organization.

Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.



Prior experience in quality assurance within the electronics or instrumentation industry is preferred.

A strong understanding of quality management systems, DFMEA, PFMEA, and validation processes is essential. Knowledge of AI applications in quality control or product development will be considered an advantage. The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required.

Responsibilities

- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: KRAs
- Participate in all new product development activities from launch stage onwards.
- Attend and contribute in Design Reviews to ensure quality requirements are addressed.
- Review DFMEA, PFMEA, and Design Validation Plan & Report (DVP&R;) activities.
- Identify potential risks during product development and ensure mitigation actions are tracked and closed.
- Review supplier quality activities related to new product development including PPAP, validation, and process capability studies.
- Ensure implementation of lessons learned and continual quality improvements.




- Ensure product and process quality compliance during development stage.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for identified quality concerns in new product.
- GENERAL/SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (review)
- Support internal audits, customer PPAP audits.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
