We are looking for an experienced MEP Design Quality Engineer to lead our Design Quality function and establish world-class engineering standards across all MEP disciplines.

This is a strategic technical role for an experienced qualified with a strong background in both MEP Design Engineering and Construction/Project Execution . The successful candidate will ensure that every engineering deliverable is technically robust, coordinated, practical to construct, and aligned with international design standards.

The role is instrumental in bridging the gap between design intent and execution by driving design quality, technical assurance, constructability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the technical review and quality assurance of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and ELV design deliverables prior to issuance.
- Review engineering drawings with equal emphasis on design integrity , constructability , maintainability , and site execution feasibility .
- Verify engineering calculations, design assumptions, code compliance, interdisciplinary coordination, equipment selections, and technical documentation.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, coordination, consistency, and presentation.
- Develop and implement organization-wide MEP drawing standards, detailing guidelines, review procedures, quality checklists, and technical governance frameworks.
- Standardize engineering documentation and detailing practices to ensure consistency across all projects.
- Identify design gaps, coordination issues, constructability challenges, and engineering risks during the design stage to minimize rework during construction.




- Lead multidisciplinary design review meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Conduct periodic site quality audits to verify compliance between approved design documents and executed works, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Prepare technical review reports, quality audit reports, snag lists, and lessons-learned documentation to drive continual improvement.
- Facilitate design review workshops, technical knowledge-sharing sessions, and engineering excellence initiatives across the organization.
- Collaborate with Design Managers, Project Managers, BIM teams, and site teams to enhance engineering quality and project delivery.
- Promote value engineering, innovation, and adoption of global best practices while maintaining technical integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing design quality, constructability, standardization, and overall engineering excellence.

Desired Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in MEP Industry.
- Proven experience in both Design Engineering and Construction/Project Management , with a sound understanding of engineering design and site execution.
- Strong exposure to commercial workplaces, corporate fit-outs, R&D; facilities, and semiconductor projects.
- Thorough knowledge of NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IS Codes, and other applicable international engineering standards.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, precision and a commitment to engineering excellence.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
