About the Role

Are you logical, detail-oriented, and obsessed with flawless software execution? As our Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will serve as the crucial bridge between business requirements and software development .

Your core mandate is to deconstruct Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Wireframes, and User Stories into explicit, testable criteria before code is released to production . You will collaborate daily with Software Developers, Team Leaders (TLs), and Operations teams to identify software risks early, execute manual test suites, log structured defects, and enforce strict Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) standards .

Primary Responsibilities

- Requirement Deconstruction: Review and interpret Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Wireframes, and User Stories to validate that acceptance criteria are clear and complete .
- Test Case Creation & Execution: Write comprehensive manual test cases covering Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing,



and Boundary Value Analysis (BVA).
- Defect Lifecycle Management: Execute manual test plans, log structured bug reports with step-by-step Steps To Reproduce (STR), assign severity ratings, and verify defect resolutions.
- Cross-Browser & Device Verification: Validate User Interface (UI) responsiveness and User Experience (UX) across desktop browsers (Google Chrome, Apple Safari) and mobile viewports.
- Database Data Integrity: Execute basic Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to verify backend data updates against frontend inputs.
- Cross-Functional Risk Mitigation: Communicate actively with Software Developers, Team Leaders (TLs), and clients to clarify ambiguities and prevent high-impact production issues.

Core Competencies

Technical Skills / Tools:

- Manual Test Case Writing (Structuring detailed test steps using Boundary Value Analysis [BVA] and Equivalence Partitioning [EP]).
- Defect Tracking Tools (Logging and tracking bugs in Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel).
- Requirement Mapping (Mapping Business Requirement Documents [BRDs] to test coverage matrices).
- Database Querying (Running basic Structured Query Language [SQL] SELECT statements for data integrity checks).
- Cross-Browser Testing (Validating User Interface [UI] consistency on Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Mobile Viewports).
- Life Cycle Frameworks (Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle [SDLC] and Software Testing Life Cycle [STLC]).
