Role Description The QC Lab Chemist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kadi. This position is responsible for performing routine and non-routine quality control testing of microcrystalline cellulose and other excipients, following established SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

The QC Lab Chemist will prepare samples, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, document test results, and support investigations for out-of-specification findings. Daily activities include calibrating instruments, maintaining laboratory records, assisting with method validation, and collaborating with production teams to ensure product quality and compliance.



The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QC laboratory and supporting internal and external audits as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Control skills, including knowledge of QC procedures, specifications, and documentation practices.
- Candidates should possess core Laboratory Skills, such as sample preparation, handling of chemicals, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, including interpreting test data, troubleshooting results, and understanding pharmacopeial methods.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Laboratory Equipment, including routine operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
- Candidates should possess experience in Calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Relevant degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory or excipient manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Robust attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and ability to follow GMP and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
