About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QC Chemist to join our pharmaceutical intermediates manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples and finished products, ensuring that all materials meet the required quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.

- Conduct routine analysis using laboratory instruments and analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, titration, moisture analysis and other wet chemistry methods.

- Perform testing as per approved specifications, test methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records, analytical reports and test results.

- Review analytical results and identify any out-of-specification (OOS) or abnormal results.

- Coordinate with the Production and R&D; teams regarding analytical results and process-related issues.

- Assist in method development, method validation and method transfer where required.

- Maintain proper calibration and routine checks of laboratory instruments.

- Prepare and maintain reagents, solutions and laboratory standards.

- Ensure proper sampling,



labelling and storage of samples.

- Follow laboratory safety procedures, GMP/GLP practices and company quality procedures.

- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the QC laboratory.

- Assist in maintaining documentation required for audits and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry.

- M.Sc. Chemistry candidates will be preferred.

- Candidates with relevant experience in pharmaceutical intermediates, API, speciality chemicals or fine chemicals will be preferred.

Experience

- 27 years of relevant experience in Quality Control / Analytical Chemistry.

- Experience in a pharmaceutical, API, pharmaceutical-intermediate or chemical manufacturing environment is preferred

Desired Skills

- Valuable practical knowledge of HPLC and GC.

- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry and wet chemistry techniques.

- Ability to interpret chromatograms and analytical results.

- Knowledge of laboratory documentation and SOPs

- Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with Production and R&D; teams.
