Job Summary:

The QA & QC Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control within the frozen food manufacturing process. This includes implementing and maintaining food safety systems, Applying & Getting Food Safety Management systems like BRC, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, managing laboratory and inspection teams, and driving continuous improvement to maintain the highest product quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance (QA):

- Develop, implement, and maintain food safety management systems such as HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, BRC, and FSSC 22000.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, EU, FSSAI).
- Oversee document control systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and records management.
- Lead internal and external audits, including certification and customer audits.
- Train staff in food safety and quality systems, fostering a quality culture across the organization.

2. Quality Control (QC):

- Manage and monitor incoming raw material inspections,



in-process quality checks, and finished product evaluations.
- Supervise microbiological, chemical, and physical testing in QC labs.
- Ensure environmental monitoring in processing and cold storage areas.
- Investigate non-conformities and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
- Develop and maintain product specifications and quality attributes.

3. Team & Process Management:

- Lead and mentor QA/QC staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, R&D;, and logistics to align quality goals.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve yield, and increase customer satisfaction.

4. Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare periodic reports on quality metrics, trends, and KPIs for management.
- Ensure traceability and proper documentation for product recalls and withdrawals, if needed.
- Monitor customer complaints and implement quality improvement plans.
