- Perform routine analysis of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM) and Finished Goods (FG) to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct validation and verification of all critical procedures related to new equipment, new processes and current product introductions.
- Implement, monitor and maintain hygiene and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
- Organize and conduct training sessions for plant personnel on GMP, GHP and safety protocols to promote a culture of food safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation as per HACCP and FSSC 22000 requirements, always ensuring audit readiness.
- Ensure timely calibration, maintenance and validation of laboratory instruments and production equipment to maintain measurement accuracy.
- Coordinate and liaise with external agencies, auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections, audits, and certification processes.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Food Technology or a related discipline.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a food processing or FMCG environment.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Well-versed in GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and FSSAI regulations.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment, calibration procedures and analytical testing methods.
- Works effectively within cross-functional teams to maintain quality across operations.
- Competent in conducting employee training sessions on safety, hygiene and quality practices.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory requirements.
