About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer with expertise in healthcare technology to join our agile team in Trivandrum. This role involves designing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies for our healthcare applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR, along with extensive experience in test automation using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating complex healthcare workflows, ensuring seamless integration across clinical systems like HIS, EMR/EHR, RIS, PACS, and VNA. You will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and compliance of our products by developing automated tests, managing defect life cycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA and test automation, preferably within the healthcare industry. Strong expertise in healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR is essential.



Proficiency in Java-based automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, as well as hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end and API testing, is required.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of testing REST APIs and microservices architectures, utilizing tools like Postman and REST Assured. A background in healthcare software, medical devices, diagnostic imaging, or digital health platforms is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, along with familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, will be advantageous. Leadership experience in guiding QA teams or mentoring junior engineers within healthcare projects is a plus.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for healthcare applications using Java with Selenium or Playwright, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios.

Validate integration workflows across clinical systems including HIS, EMR/EHR, RIS, PACS, and VNA, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.

Test and validate healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR across integrated systems to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Build and maintain automated API and integration test suites for REST APIs and microservices-based healthcare platforms, facilitating continuous testing and deployment.

Develop detailed test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure thorough testing coverage and adherence to quality standards.





Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and clinical stakeholders to identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and quality improvements.

Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with automated testing frameworks to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback cycles.

Troubleshoot and resolve data and system integration issues across connected healthcare systems, maintaining system stability and performance.

Document test plans, test coverage, and quality assurance processes to support maintainability, audits, and compliance requirements.
