Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer with robust expertise in Selenium, Python, and Functional Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks, executing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Python.

Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.

Develop and enhance automation frameworks following best practices.

Execute test suites and analyze test results to identify defects.

Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA teams.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.

Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements.

Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.

Prepare test execution reports and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.

Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Required Skills

Automation Testing

Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Python.

Experience in automation framework development using PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.





Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven frameworks.

Experience in test script maintenance and optimization.

Functional Testing

Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.

Expertise in test case design techniques and defect lifecycle management.

Programming & Tools

Proficiency in Python Programming.

Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.

Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

Understanding of API Testing using Postman or Python Requests Library.

CI/CD & Agile

Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience in Test Management and Defect Tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of API automation testing.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.

Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter.

Experience with Playwright is an added advantage.
