Job Summary

GOEEN Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase & Procurement Executive with strong knowledge of domestic/international purchasing, import-export documentation and CHA/customs clearance. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, purchase orders, shipment documentation, customs clearance and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle domestic and international purchase/procurement activities.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery and payment terms.
- Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and vendor documentation.
- Coordinate with international suppliers for import shipments.
- Coordinate with CHA/Customs Brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines and transporters.
- Handle import documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Bill of Entry and other required documents.
- Follow up on customs clearance, duty assessment, examination and shipment release.
- Verify HS codes, product descriptions and other shipment-related information.
- Track shipment status from supplier dispatch through customs clearance and final delivery.
- Maintain records of import/export documents, vendor quotations, POs and invoices.
- Negotiate with vendors and logistics partners for competitive pricing and terms.
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with Accounts/Finance regarding vendor payments,



customs duty and freight payments.
- Resolve procurement, logistics and customs-related issues.
- Maintain proper MIS reports for Purchase, Import, Export and CHA activities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable company and statutory requirements.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Purchase & Procurement.
- Positive understanding of Import & Export procedures.
- Practical experience dealing with CHA / Customs Broker.
- Knowledge of customs documentation and clearance procedures.
- Knowledge of HS Code, customs duty, freight and logistics.
- Good vendor negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP and procurement software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
- Additional certification/course in Import-Export, Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in EV, automobile, battery, electronics or manufacturing industries will be preferred.
