We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchase Officer for our Government Contracting operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement of materials, vendor management, quotation comparison, and purchase documentation related to government projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procure construction materials, electrical items, hardware, and project-related supplies.

Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.

Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions with suppliers.

Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor timely delivery of materials.

Coordinate with project sites, stores, accounts, and vendors for procurement planning.

Maintain vendor database and develop new supplier relationships.

Ensure quality, quantity, and specification compliance of purchased materials.

Maintain purchase records, bills, invoices, and supporting documentation.

Track inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess procurement.

Handle procurement related to Government Tenders, PWD/CPWD/UP Government Departments, GEM,



and e-procurement platforms.

Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.

Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, vendor performance, and material consumption.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of purchase and procurement procedures.

Experience in Government Tender Procurement and material purchasing.

Familiarity with GEM Portal, e-Tendering systems, and government procurement processes.

Positive negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP, and purchase documentation.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requirements simultaneously.

Qualification

Graduate (B.Com / BBA / Diploma / B.Tech / Any Relevant Degree).

Prior experience with a Government Contractor, Civil Construction, Electrical Contractor, or Infrastructure Company will be preferred.

Salary: Best in the industry (Based on experience)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
