Position: Purchase Manager

Role Summary:

The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing steel materials at competitive prices, ensuring timely procurement, maintaining optimum inventory levels, and building solid supplier relationships to support the company's sales and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure steel products (HR, CR, GI, GP, PPGI, etc.) as per business requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with mills, distributors, and vendors.
- Compare quotations and finalize the most cost-effective purchases.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with sales and warehouse teams.
- Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely material delivery.
- Track market trends, steel prices, and availability.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and vendor payments.
- Maintain purchase records, MIS reports,



and vendor performance data.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the steel trading industry.

Key Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of steel products and market trends.
- Commercial acumen and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP/MS Excel.
- Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
