Job Title: Procurement Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional at the Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager level in the construction (Civil/Infra) sector. The role involves leading end-to-end procurement operations, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and inventory oversight to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

:

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and purchasing policies.
- Conduct procurement planning aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective and quality procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Optimize supply chain efficiency by determining delivery quantity and timing.
- Lead CAPEX evaluations and support decision-making for current products/services.
- Manage purchasing budgets, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with operational needs.




- Negotiate contracts ensuring favorable pricing and terms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee transportation and logistics for timely and secure delivery.
- Review and approve purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
- Lead, train, and manage procurement team members.
- Prepare procurement reports and performance analysis for management.

Competencies Required:

- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and vendor management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Familiarity with procurement software and reporting tools (preferred)

Qualification:

- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
- Relevant degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration (inferred from role level and domain)
