– Purchase & Planning Executive

Location: Ludhiana, Punjab

Reporting To: Purchase & Planning Manager

Job Summary The Purchase & Planning Executive will be responsible for procurement, production planning, inventory control, vendor coordination, and ensuring the timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
- Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Maintain inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Sales, and Finance teams.
- Negotiate with vendors for pricing, delivery, and quality.
- Update purchase, inventory, and planning data in ERPNext.
- Monitor material consumption and prepare purchase/planning reports.
- Ensure timely procurement while optimizing inventory costs.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical/Industrial/Production), MBA (Operations), B.Com,



or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase, Planning, or Supply Chain.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of procurement, production planning, and inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with ERPNext (preferred) or other ERP software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Robust negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

- Inventory accuracy and stock availability.
- Vendor delivery performance.
- Purchase cost optimization.
- ERP data accuracy and timely reporting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
