Job Title: Purchase Engineer

Experience : 3–5 Years

Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain or related field

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to manage procurement, vendor development, negotiations, and timely availability of materials for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand purchase requirements and plan procurement accordingly.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and vendors.
- Maintain valuable relationships with existing suppliers.
- Collect and compare quotations and negotiate prices and terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, and Quality teams for purchase requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per quality and production requirements.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.
- Maintain supplier and product data in the ERP system.




- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors and resolve purchase or supply-related issues.
- Visit vendors and suppliers as required for procurement and coordination.

Skills & Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement in a manufacturing company.
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain or related field.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to vendor locations as required.
