We are a leading international management consulting firm. We are looking to onboard a bid management professional on a contractual basis for its office in Gurgaon. The focus of the team is on Government (Central & State) and Public sector clients in India.

Role Description

As a member of the team, the candidate will work with the India and Middle East leadership on various client development efforts in Government and Public Sector. The person will be a thought partner to the client teams, and will be a content expert with strong problem structuring and solving skills. The member will build deep understanding of Firms global capabilities, qualifications, thinking, and expertise; and will leverage all of these to support client development requests including proposals.

This role will provide an prospect to interface with consultants & leadership across both in India and abroad.

Your responsibilities will change over time as you gain experience in this position. You will increasingly get involved in more diverse, challenging and ambitious situations. Key elements of the responsibilities are as follows:

- Support the client development deliverables such as client discussion documents and proposal presentations. Including putting together Firmss qualifications and credentials for the relevant RFP; running end to end bid management process including but not limited to tender identification, screening of relevant tenders as per internal screening criteria, pre-bid queries and attending pre-bid meetings, ownership of putting together high-quality proposal in due consultation with other team members, online and offline submission of the proposal to clients,



coordination with legal and finance teams to ensure their inputs and queries.
- Work with senior leadership as well as practice experts to take ownership of the credentials such as CVs, firm experience, etc, POA, other admin forms, etc.
- Build deep understanding of the Firm's strategic and competitive credentials, qualifications, cases and CVs; as well as a deep network within the firm both in India and globally to be able to leverage them fully for client development efforts
- Manage and optimise the knowledge repository Submitted RFPs, EOIs, RFQs, credentials, client cases/ references/ certificates, CVs etc. Work with various practice leaders and experts globally to enhance the repository

Qualifications & competencies

- The candidate should be a BE. BTech with MBA degree from recognized College/University and 3-5 years of experience (post MBA)
- Preferred experience of having worked with an IT company/system integrator or a consulting firm in a similar role
- Deep knowledge of India Government (Central/state/PSUs/Government Agencies) procurement process and Bid management
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to manage bids consistently with prompt follow through in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively with a wide range of professionals with close contact to Partners / Directors / Engagement Managers/Finance & Legal personnel
- Strong problem solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-up. Ability to continuously prioritize and multi-task given competing demands and deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Must have solid knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel including Pivot Tables and Vlookup.
