About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead the execution of commercial and industrial (C&I;) solar EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects from handover through commissioning, ensuring timely completion, quality execution, cost control, and client satisfaction.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, including clients, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

- Manage end-to-end execution of rooftop and ground-mounted solar EPC projects.
- Develop detailed project schedules and execution plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project kick-off, execution, commissioning, and final handover.

Site Management

- Supervise multiple project sites simultaneously.
- Coordinate daily activities of site engineers, supervisors, and installation teams.
- Monitor progress and resolve technical or execution-related issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance.

Client Coordination

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Procurement & Material Coordination
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely material availability.
- Review material requirements based on project schedules.
- Prevent project delays due to material shortages.

Contractor & Vendor Management
- Manage subcontractors, civil contractors, and installation teams.
- Monitor contractor productivity and quality.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project timelines.

Quality & Safety




- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and relevant electrical codes.
- Enforce safety procedures and protected work practices across all sites.
- Identify and mitigate execution risks proactively.

Documentation

- Maintain project documentation including DPRs, progress reports, material reconciliation, commissioning reports, and handover documents.
- Coordinate submission of as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.

Reporting

- Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Track project milestones, costs, risks, and resource utilization.
- Report directly to senior management on project performance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in Solar EPC project execution.
- Experience managing commercial and industrial (C&I;) rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar structures, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and commissioning processes.
- Ability to read SLDs, electrical drawings, GA drawings, and construction layouts.

- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
