Role Overview

Tracks VMC machining orders from drawing approval to final customer delivery, ensuring machines stay busy and parts ship on time.

What You Will Do

- Customer Orders: Receive drawings from clients, check shop floor feasibility, and share completion dates.
- Production Tracking: Track VMC programming status, fixture readiness, and machine schedules to keep spindle idle time low.
- Quality Setup: Coordinate with QC for initial part sample (FAIR/PPAP) sign-offs before full batch production.
- Daily Reporting: Maintain daily target vs. actual output logs and report scrap or delay issues.

What We Need

- Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 25 years in a VMC machine shop.
- Skills: Ability to read 2D/3D engineering drawings (GD&T; basics) and basic MS Excel proficiency.
- Languages: Tamil (for shop floor talk) and English (for client emails).
