The Professor of Physiotherapy will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, clinical training, and institutional development. The role involves mentoring faculty, driving high-impact research (SCI/Scopus), strengthening clinical practice integration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as UGC and relevant councils. 1. Academic Teaching Excellence

- Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Physiotherapy
- Develop curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and outcome-based education (OBE)
- Introduce advanced teaching methodologies including simulation-based and evidence-based practice
- Supervise dissertations, thesis, and clinical projects 2. Research Publications

- Publish high-quality research papers in SCI / Scopus indexed journals
- Lead funded research projects, consultancy, and interdisciplinary collaborations
- Guide PhD scholars and promote a robust research culture
- Maintain strong citation metrics, h-index, and research visibility 3. Clinical Industry Integration

- Establish linkages with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and sports organizations
- Promote hands-on clinical training and internships for students
- Contribute to patient care services (if applicable)




- Introduce industry-relevant certifications and skill programs 4. Leadership Administration

- Provide academic leadership within the department
- Mentor Assistant and Associate Professors
- Contribute to accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, NIRF ranking)
- Participate in policy development, academic audits, and IQAC activities 5. Outreach Institutional Development

- Organize FDPs, workshops, conferences, and CMEs
- Build collaborations with national and international institutions
- Support university branding and ranking initiatives

- Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or relevant allied health discipline
- Master s degree (MPT) with specialization in relevant area
- Minimum 10-15 years of teaching/research/clinical experience

- At least 5 years as Associate Professor (preferred)
- Proven track record of PhD supervision
