Role Description The Professional Dancer will deliver high-quality dance experiences to young learners through engaging classes, workshops, and performances in an in office role located in Hyderabad. This contract role involves planning and conducting age-appropriate dance sessions, incorporating music, movement, and storytelling that align with WISH’s experiential and child-centered philosophy.

Day-to-day responsibilities include choreographing routines for school events,



collaborating with teachers to integrate dance into the broader curriculum, and adapting instruction to different skill levels and learning styles.

The Professional

Dancer will also be expected to maintain a safe, inclusive studio environment, manage practice schedules, and provide constructive feedback that builds students’ confidence and creativity.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Dance and Ballet, with the ability to perform and demonstrate a range of styles.
- Proficiency in Dance Instruction and Choreography, including designing age-appropriate routines and lesson plans.
- Working knowledge of Music as it relates to rhythm, timing, and movement in dance education.
- Prior experience teaching children or young learners in school, studio, or workshop settings.
- Ability to create inclusive, encouraging learning environments that support diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with educators and families.
- Relevant training or certification in dance (e.g., diploma, degree, or recognized professional program); formal teaching qualifications are an advantage.
- Availability to work on-site in Hyderabad on a contract basis, with flexibility for school events and performances.
