Role Description The Professional Curriculum Vitae Writer will create, refine, and customize CVs and resumes that are ATS-friendly and aligned with clients’ career goals and target roles. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering client information through interviews or questionnaires, conducting role and industry research, and translating career histories into clear, impactful, and professional documents.

The role also involves aligning CV content with digital branding needs, such as LinkedIn profiles and personal brand messaging, while maintaining consistency in tone, structure, and formatting.

Qualifications

- Ability to design and structure skilled CVs, with skills in Curriculum and Curriculum Development for clear, logical career narratives.
- Proficiency in Instructional Design to present skills, achievements, and experience in a way that is easy to understand and tailored to target roles.
- Robust Writing skills, with a focus on concise, professional language, accurate grammar, and impactful phrasing.
- Excellent Research abilities to analyze job descriptions, industry expectations, and role requirements for targeted CV customization.
- Experience creating ATS-friendly resumes and familiarity with common hiring platforms and keyword optimization.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, ask relevant questions, and translate complex career paths into clear profiles.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the capacity to handle multiple client projects in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in CV writing or career consulting.
- Prior experience in career services, recruitment, HR, or professional writing is an advantage.
