Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain quality standards, and manage shop floor operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Monitor machine operations and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure production is carried out as per SOPs, process parameters, and quality standards.
- Monitor product quality and minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Allocate work to operators and production staff and monitor their performance.
- Report machine breakdowns and coordinate with the Maintenance team for timely repairs.
- Maintain daily production reports, shift reports,



and production records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping (5S) and compliance with safety procedures.
- Train and guide production operators on secure work practices and production processes.
- Monitor raw material consumption and support inventory control.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and smooth shift operations.

Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, Plastics, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1–10 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in PVC Compound, Polymer, Plastics, Chemical, or Cable Compound manufacturing will be preferred.
