Job Summary :

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities, manage shop-floor employees, and ensure that production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, good knowledge of production processes, and the ability to manage manpower, materials, machines, and production schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned time and required quality standards.
- Allocate work to operators and production staff according to production requirements.
- Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance.
- Ensure machines, tools, materials, and manpower are available for production.
- Monitor production processes and identify delays, bottlenecks, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to specifications and quality requirements.
- Reduce production wastage, rejection, rework, and downtime.
- Maintain proper production records, checklists, and daily reports.
- Monitor machine operation and report breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the production area.
- Train, guide, and motivate production workers to improve productivity and work quality.




- Identify operational problems and take appropriate corrective action.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate important production updates to the next shift/team.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements :

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Production, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team-lead role is preferred.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong manpower and team-management skills.
- Ability to monitor production targets and maintain quality standards.
- Positive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and under production deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and production reporting.
- Knowledge of 5S, safety procedures, and quality control is an advantage.
