About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Manager – PPC to lead production planning and control for our manufacturing plant, with supporting ownership of supply chain coordination and store operations. The role is primarily focused on ensuring on-time production through robust planning and scheduling, with a smaller but essential remit covering procurement coordination,

inventory management, and dispatch. The role requires strong execution, cross-functional coordination, and a data-driven approach to ensure on-time production with optimum inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

? Production Planning & Control (PPC) — Primary Focus

- Planning of Raw Material and BOP (Bought-Out Parts) according to production scheduling.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure production schedules meet customer delivery commitments.
- Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks.
- Improve production efficiency, line balancing, and capacity utilization.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, NPD, and Stores.

? Supply Chain Management
- Plan procurement based on production requirements.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and material availability.
- Reduce material shortages and improve supplier performance.
- Coordinate imports and local sourcing teams.
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow.

? Store & Warehouse Operations
- Maintain optimum inventory levels; reduce excess, slow-moving, and obsolete stock.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure timely material issuance and finished goods dispatch.
- Improve warehouse organization and inventory control.




- Monitor dispatch planning and logistics performance.

? Process Improvement
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports.
- Drive ERP discipline and data accuracy.
- Implement automation and process improvements.
- Standardize SOPs across PPC, SCM, and Store functions.

? Team Management
- Lead PPC, Purchase, Stores, Warehouse, and SCM teams.
- Define KPIs and review performance regularly.
- Train and mentor team members.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred.
