Job Title: Production and Quality Engineer

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Production & Quality Engineer to oversee assembly line operations and implement quality inspection standards at our Sasewadi, Pune manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for entry-to-mid level engineering professionals who excel at shop-floor coordination, defect tracking, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

- Shop-Floor Operations: Perform and supervise mechanical/electrical assembly activities in accordance with daily production targets and engineering work instructions.
- Quality Assurance & Inspection: Conduct in-process and final quality inspections using standard gauges and measuring instruments; log defect reports.
- Troubleshooting & RCA: Identify assembly/quality issues on the line and collaborate with production teams to execute Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain daily production logs, inspection reports, reject records,



and ERP system entries in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Support 5S, housekeeping, and process enhancement initiatives to optimize assembly efficiency and reduce scrap rates.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience: 0 to 3+ years in assembly, quality control, or shop-floor manufacturing operations. (Fresh Diploma graduates with strong technical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.)
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of reading engineering drawings, quality tools, SOP adherence, and shop-floor safety protocols.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word). Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Languages: Working proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English for effective team and operator communication.
