Experience

- 8–15 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role within the Cosmetics, Personal Care, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Ayurvedic manufacturing industry.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations in our cosmetics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring productive production planning, manpower management, quality compliance, cost control, and timely delivery while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets as per the production schedule.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and utilities to maximize productivity and minimize wastage.
- Supervise manufacturing and filling operations while ensuring compliance with approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), SOPs, GMP, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Planning, and Warehouse departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, downtime, rejection, and yield, and implement corrective actions to improve overall productivity.
- Ensure proper documentation of BMRs, equipment logbooks, production reports, line clearance records, and other production-related documents.
- Review daily production reports, breakdown reports, manpower deployment, and machine performance, and submit MIS reports to Management.
- Identify process improvements and implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S,



and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize machine breakdowns and production losses.
- Monitor raw material and packaging material consumption, control production losses, and optimize manufacturing costs.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, EHS, safety regulations, hygiene standards, and statutory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Investigate production deviations, product rejections, and customer complaints by conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, supervisors, and operators while ensuring discipline and adherence to company policies.
- Conduct daily production review meetings with department heads to discuss production status, challenges, action plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product trials, scale-up activities, process validation, and technology transfer in coordination with the R&D;, QA, and QC teams.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Technology, Pharmacy, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
