Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Jamshedpur facility. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring that manufacturing schedules are met, and coordinating resources to achieve output targets. The role includes planning and organizing production workflows, monitoring equipment performance, managing production staff, and enforcing safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

The Production

Manager will track key performance indicators, identify process improvements, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. This role also involves reporting production status to leadership, supporting cost control initiatives,



and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the plant.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and shop-floor control in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading and supervising production teams, with skills in workforce coordination, training, and performance management.
- Understanding of quality control practices, safety standards, and compliance with industrial regulations.
- Ability to analyze production data, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Familiarity with machinery and equipment used in automotive or industrial component manufacturing.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience as a Production Manager or in a similar supervisory role in a manufacturing plant is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and, ideally, exposure to ERP or manufacturing management systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamshedpur and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven industrial environment.
