Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee manufacturing operations at our chemical production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Optimize production processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead and develop production teams, including supervisors and operators.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supply Chain departments.
- Monitor production KPIs such as OEE, yield, downtime, and productivity.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs,



GMP (where applicable), and statutory regulations.
- Prepare production reports and present performance metrics to management.
- Drive preventive and corrective actions to improve plant performance.

Job Location - Kurkumbh MIDC, Pune Required Qualifications -

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10 -15 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Immediate Joiner preferred.
- Solid knowledge of batch or continuous process operations.
- Experience with production planning, process optimization, and safety management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office.
