Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Production Line In-Charge with at least 2 years of experience in the sheet metal manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day production line activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Handle manpower allocation and monitor operator performance.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments for smooth production.
- Monitor machine utilization and minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices on the shop floor.
- Maintain daily production reports and shift records.




- Identify production issues and take corrective actions to improve productivity.
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and reduce process wastage.
- Train and guide shop-floor operators on production processes and safety procedures.
- Follow company policies, ISO standards, and safety regulations.

Required Skills

- Experience in sheet metal fabrication and production processes.
- Knowledge of press shop, fabrication, welding, assembly, and production planning.
- Understanding of production documentation and reporting.
- Ability to lead and manage production teams.
- Basic knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/ERP) is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2+ years of experience in a sheet metal manufacturing company.
- Diploma/B.E. Mechanical.
- Solid problem-solving and team management skills.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts if required.
