We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for industrial actuators. The role will be responsible for production planning, shop-floor operations, assembly, machining, testing, productivity, quality, manpower management and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Actuator/Valve or similar precision-engineered product manufacturing and the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end production and manufacturing operations to achieve quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production as per customer requirements and dispatch schedules.
- Manage manufacturing and assembly of electric, pneumatic, hydraulic/electro-hydraulic actuators and related components.
- Oversee machining, assembly, testing, calibration and final inspection activities.
- Manage and develop Production Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians and Operators.
- Coordinate closely with PPC, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Dispatch teams.
- Monitor key production KPIs including output, OEE, productivity, rejection, rework, cycle time and on-time delivery.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve machine utilization, manpower productivity, process efficiency and manufacturing capacity.
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, fixtures,



machines and manpower for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, work instructions, engineering drawings, quality standards and safety requirements.
- Analyse recurring production issues through RCA, CAPA and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process development and engineering changes.
- Prepare and review production MIS, capacity reports, productivity reports and management dashboards.
- Establish and maintain strong shop-floor discipline, safety and 5S culture.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization and manufacturing automation.

Required Candidate Profile:

- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
- 10-15 years of relevant production/manufacturing experience.
- MUST HAVE experience in Actuators, Industrial Valves, Flow Control, Pumps, Process Equipment, Precision Engineering or Industrial Automation.
- Robust hands-on expertise in machining, assembly and product testing.
- Proven experience managing production teams and shop-floor operations.
- Strong knowledge of drawings, BOM, routing, machining and assembly processes.
- Track record of achieving production targets, productivity and cost optimization.
- Hands-on knowledge of Lean, OEE, Kaizen, 5S, RCA, CAPA and continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills with effective cross-functional coordination.
